Lorenzo Marcucci was born in Italy into an international family and grew up in Kenya, Madagascar, Nigeria and Portugal, where he attended American schools. In New York he began his formal training in photography. Here his distinctive style emerged: sophisticated and ironic at the same time. He then moved to Milan, where he has been living and working for more than 10 years.
His advertising clients include Extè, Pirelli, Alviero Martini, Alberto Guardiani, Frankie Morello, DSquared,Clone,Roy Rogers, Atos Lombardini, Anima Gemella, Memine, Exbit, Andrew Mac Kenzie, Coon, AngelDevil, Angelos Frentzos, Leitmotiv, Tom Rebl.
His editorial works appear, among the others, in Posh, Attitude, Flaunt, Sportswear International, Surface, D di Repubblica, Grazia, Luxos Magazine. Lorenzo has recently and succesfully organized his first personal exhibition "CENSORED PHOTOS" which was a tribute to great photoghaphers of the past such as:Ritts,Bailey,Skrebneski and Mapplethorpe.
